Health and Halacha: Finding Balance

As I’ve mentioned earlier, I’m learning part-time at Nishmat’s summer program. Being able to study Torah part-time and work part-time is one of the major perks of living in Jerusalem (and employers who are supportive of workers having a life outside of the office).

Finding balance between what one wants to do and what one’s gotta do, for overall health and well being (since good health is essential for anything else one wants to accomplish) was the topic of this morning’s Health and Halacha lecture.

Balancing all the activities in my life that best contributes to my overall well being (including maintaining this blog!) is always a work in progress.  I share some thoughts on what I learned over at the Nishmat blog.
